being born so late in the 90's, i've come to envy and teenager growing up during the entire decade.

the fashions of early hip hop and grunge head bangers makes me completely and utterly jealous of any teenager experiencing this time.

with the influences of courtney love and kurt cobain, colourful hair and black lipstick became the norm. 

although easily achieved today by many, the 90's allowed many teenagers to express themselves to their fullest without being judged.

it's been a life long dream of mine to cut my hair short and dye it pastel pink. but in reality today's society makes it so that i'm way too shy and too unconfident to do it.

oh how i wish i lived in the 90's.

hello again!!!!!

i have not forgotten about all of you lovely people. i've been very busy lately with mid term exams and sports but i finally put aside an hour of my day to take these photos!

it was freezing today, tons of wind and rain but hey that didn't phase me.

i bought this jean skirt yesterday at American Apparel's 20% off sale. so far i love it!! super comfortable, high waisted, and a great colour for this weather!

i'm hoping i can present you guys some exciting news next week, so keep your eyes open!

so supposedly it's spring time here in canada???

but i'm not sure about that… on the way home from these photos it started snowing.

i don't know about you, but snow in the spring just doesn't work for me.

although i'm not a pastel floral dress kind of girl, spring is still a fun season for me.

ripped capris aren't as frowned upon as they were in december and i can get away with tee shirts without cardigans.

sounds perfect to me.

i was so excited because the weather finally started getting warm and the sun finally decided to shine.

then a huge plow of snow falls and ruins my outfit plans.

it's gotten to -17.

you cannot wear skirts in -17.

therefore i've been stuck in jeggings and yoga pants everyday which really saddens me because i want to wear skirts and dresses as much as i can.

but now that it's february i can start my official countdown to spring break.

spring break = shopping spree

shopping spree = happy lauren
